Just some questions and answers I got on a Facebook post referencing this, thought it would be worthwhile to post them here:
Q: So it's a glow disc, right? It's a night tourney?
A: Yes. Tee off is at 7PM, and twilight is at 6:42 PM, with nautical twilight at 7:17 PM and astronomical twilight at 7:52 PM. There should be a 3/4 waxing moon to see some by though... But, it WILL be dark for this. None of that playing in the dusk stuff...
Q: So are we required to play with that one [tourney] disc? Or can we bring our own glo discs? And do you know what disc you're going with for the glo disc you are offering?
A: As to the mold, we aren't set on that yet, but most likely a glow mid of some sort. We are going with Dynamic Discs for the tournament discs just because of the assistance they can give to smaller tournaments. That being said, you are NOT limited to just the tourney disc. Bring your own glow discs, light up discs, glow-painted discs, disc with glow sticks taped to them... Whatever you want to do, it's okay. That is exactly why we DIDN'T make this a PDGA sanctioned event...
