The shirt was all we were promising. Due to limited items donated for the player's packages and to discourage people from registering and not showing (to get the player's packages), the customized items were all we were sending out. This was in the confirmation package.

That's not cool. Limited items? I payed $130 for my spot in the tournament, so you should have items that were for me. This is beyond upsetting, not only did I not get to participate due to injury, but I also get my paid for players pack denied to me. Unacceptable! I expect more from both the PDGA and the local Club/TD hosting such a major event.

We had posted a timeline for withdrawals. When you get a refund and what you would be sent. It was in the invite package as well as the confirmation package. The player's pack is worth more than the entry fee. There are a limited amount of items we had for the package and there are collectible items in there too. People would end up registering and not showing just to get the package. If you didn't read the information provided it is not our fault. If you had to withdrawal, it is not our fault. Sorry this happened and you feel screwed, but you should have informed yourself. You were given what you were promissed. We only promissed to send out customized items, not the entire player's package! Take responsponsibility for the situation you put yourself in!

I would argue that you need to take responsibility for hosting a tournament of this caliber. If someone is registers and is forced to drop out , if the spot is not filled the complete player pack should still be available to them. If you did not have enough items to fill all the players packs, that is your fault. Seems like a very questionable practice at best.
