I need clarification on the players meeting. In the player guide on schedule says player meeting is at 6:30, and the schedule of events shows the player meeting at 6. What is the actual start and duration of the player meeting? Jul 20, 2015
Andrew Sweeton Jul 20, 2015The online schedule v2.8 is authoritative, meeting starts at 6pm. Not sure on duration, but hopefully it is not 3 hours long, but not sure what the hosts may have planned.
John Triezenberg Jul 20, 2015Actually doors open at 6; meeting starts at 7. This info direct from Larry LaBond yesterday.
ERic J Jul 20, 2015Interesting... v2.8 that I downloaded/saved at Jul 14 at 23:41 EDT says "6:30pm". So much for version control.
Rob McNeal Jul 20, 2015noticed the same thing. 2 different 2.8 versions

It would be nice if these were posted somehwere. Here's what I wrote down for the courses I played: MBN #7 the pond is OB. OSH #18 the pond is OB. SPC #2 the roped area on #3 is not OB for hole #2. Likewise for #5/6 and #15/4. SPC #6 is tin cup from the DZ, note that ALL OB shots go to the DZ no matter when you go OB, i.e. a putt that sails over the basket OB goes back to the DZ. * SPC #9 there is a DZ for missed mando, you do not re-throw.
Rob McNeal Jul 21, 2015im playing am1 so i think you got me covered thanks.
Brandon Redmond Jul 22, 2015So the rule for drop zones on spc supercedes the normal pdga rule used where if you go on on putting area you take it from last spot inbounds?
ERic J Jul 23, 2015Yes; they stated that again in the on-course player meeting: ALL OB shots on SPC #6 go to the DZ, doesn't matter which shot.
