Thank you for the recap Mark. I owe the success of this tournament to the 90 players who spent their holiday weekend on the course with us. It wouldn't have looked good in time for the tournament if not for the huge help I received from jeremy, Dave, Troy, Marty, manicuring the fairways and back filling around the teepads. They were busting their butt out on the course with me right up to the day before the event. The tournament went smoothly beacuase everyone pitched in like family to assist which kept things moving. Troy, Ryno, Ryan Hunt, and Mowka were awesome help. Tom, Clare, Jeremy, and the Zwermans kept the store and games going and Phils Deli gave us a great deal on some tasty sandwiches. Thank you all....
And last but not least, Mark Kruse. I called him a few months back and asked if he could vend my first sanctioned tournament in Galion and he graciously accepted. But he was way more than just a vendor. He was there to help me properly prepare and was a true mentor. The basket toss and all the basket toss items were donated by Mark. He paid out of his own pocket the entry fee for the MA1 winner from Freedom Flight AND he let the winner from the two day golf tournament raffle shop for $25(another of his donations) from his huge selection of discs and merch. I gained a lot of knowledge from directing my first event but more importantly I created and strengthened many friendships. It was so much fun. I can't wait to do it again!
