"Doubles" is a two person, team competition, in the world of Disc Golf. Partners are determined by "flipping Discs". A Disc "flipped" with "Heads Up" becomes a partner for another person who also "flipped" their Disc to a "Heads Up position. Discs "flipped" in the "Down" position become partners as well. Thus...the term "Flip Doubles".
