My dad is a faculty member at GLCC, after playing a round out there with me and listening to my critique of the course, he decided that tee pads should go in. I took him over to Grand Woods for a round and he got some first hand experience on cement. GW's boxes are large by most standards at 4x13 and pretty close to the ideal 5x12 suggested by DGA and other groups. When I first shared those specs he thought they were "way too big" but after playing a round at GW his assumptions probably changed. Even so, it's unlikely that GLCC will be getting something in those dimensions. Also, my dad's (I have no reason to doubt) going to be the guy mixing and pouring the cement so if you or others are able to follow through with volunteer offers, please contact him and express your interest.
