Happy SpAce Race Eve! No more caffeine for the rest of the day so you can hopefully fall asleep tonight, lol.
Before this season kicks off, let me go over the financials of the buy in and where the money is going to. If you select a premium plastic (star equivalents) disc your buy in is 25$, with a champ style plastic 24$, and a base plastic 22$. Prodigy base is 23$. 12$ of each buy in goes to the prize pool. What that means is that I'm making 3$ profit off of each entry this year. That's not much for what I put into it, and is less than my cut from last year. I'm making my cut smaller this year because I won't be replenishing stock throughout the year. As I no longer am running an online store I don't need the inventory I carry any more, so this year will be for reducing it, which is why I'm making the buy in a better value. I still have a ton of discs, don't worry, you will be able to get something good all year, lol.
For the 12$ going toward the prize pool here is the breakdown:
1$ double ace pot (same as last year).
75 cents season awards (25 cents less than last year), which will be for trophies with the rest going to cash payouts for the different category winners and some of the main category winners. It's not going to be a lot of $ for the winners at the end, which I am fine with, because if you are top 10 at the end of the season you made $ during the season's rounds. I will probably do larger trophies for the #1 Male and Female finishers this year as well.
25 cents for the new bounties (explained before round). New feature.
1.5$ for the side categories (up from 1$ last year). These will be paid in cash, not scrip this year.
8.5$ for the main metal and ace category (50 cents less than last year). A small decrease here to help cover the bump to side category payouts.
