RIcky D and I played river bends yesterday and cleared all the pads other than 5 and 6 and we got through it in about 2 hours. The trails are much more packed down and we could definitely play more than 18 holes in the same time it would take to play 18 at stony.

Jeff you and I are fighting! snow is snow! work on ur core throw. I love river bends, esp when here arnt mosquitoes. but its snow! a long round at stoney is better then a short round of discing. there isn't football on Sunday so wtf else would we be doing= discing.. shit we are playing sat also and not complaining about Sunday long day. it will be an amazing challenge. not enough tourneys at stoney!!! my vote keep it :)

I played stony a couple times in the last two weeks, went to Wagner today and felt like it was just as rough. Snow was just extra hard to walk through today with only the top layer being frozen. Plus won't Bobis on Saturday pack it in a little more? Just don't see Bends being any better than Stony.

Just for the sake of arguement I played stony Monday and river bends Tuesday and even with the 2-3 inches we got on Tuesday riverbends was a better place to play. Like most people are saying I am playing either way. It's awesome that we even have the option to have this discussion with the two courses so close together.

LOL! That would be great! All bends has on stony right now is walking paths... and maybe a little less snow. I bet after Bobis hits stony on saturday well have paths to walk down and it wont be nearly as bad as it is now.

Brent and I played there today. All the tee pads are in great condition. Fairways are deep but reasonable I suppose. Took about 2-2.5 hours to play 18. Definitely playable but second round is going to be brutal haha

I've been out playing all winter. And happen to know a thing or two about course set up and course conditions from a time perspective. As I said, I'm in either way. Maybe there are more shorts at stony, maybe that is the draw. See everyone Saturday and Sunday!
