It has been a day over 8 months since my last update on here. I think it is time now to fill everyone in. Well 11 days after that post I played in my last ever REC event. I won by 7 strokes and then decided as we all already knew it was time to move up. It was more of a tester event to see how my knee was and if I could handle the longer events and the answer was a for sure yes. After that I played 1 INT event and got 15th due to hurting my shoulder at the end of round 1. I took a couple weeks off and came back for the MOTV4. Played ADV and got 8th which was last place of cash. Then played Support the Troops in November and got 1st in ADV. Between this Pete Wilson and myself set a course record at Forest Park of -16 in doubles, and I got 6 more aces including on back to back throws with Eric Day at Greencastle.
For X-Mas my beautiful girlfriend got me my membership to the PDGA #69477 I am rated 901 from the 4 events I played in last year. I have started the new year off by moving to OPEN for the WIFFS events with 4th, 5th, and 7th place finishes. I am currently 3rd in points with 3 events left. Rockville this Saturday in snow and ice. Then Brazil Mar 7th and our re-designed Greencastle Mar 21st. I go out there tomorrow to finalize the layout for them.
It it shaping up to be a good year. I will update again in a week and try to do it at least once a week from now on.
