DGLA: Michigan Cooperative Point Series - Winter 2014/15 (2/17/15)

I see only 12 players are following the MiCPS-Winter Comments so I am posting this as news as well:

Got Triple Points! ;-}}}} BURRRRR

Well with little more than a week to go in the MiCPS-Winter season I was looking over the comment Posts to try and see who is in the running for the Coldest Round & Deepest Snow Round of the season for Triple points. So far many cold and snowy rounds - actually since the first Double Point round Dec 29th through Feb 16th there have been 47 rounds posted here for Double Points.

The deepest Snow round is going to be tough to determine based on what is posted - looks like several posts with 12" + inches..... It just maybe the next snow fall since most of that 12" + is still hanging around - may have to get the rulers out or call this one a draw.... Several more days to go.....keep your snow shovels handy

The coldest so far that I see in the list, and I actually felt myself, was -28 (-4 ambient with 16 MPH sustained winds = -28 wind chill - feels like) Rolling Hills February 15, 2015 10:30am Ypsi Dubs 2014/15 Winter League -={Church}=-
Still some great Mi Winter rounds ahead before it's all over. Glow rounds have the odds on favorite since the colder temps normally are in the evening but that is not always the case. Looks like WC Glow this Wednesday night may have a good shot at Triple points as well. Calling for -10 windchill by 11:00 with 8 mph winds - into the -20 something in the wee hours - you never know what will happen.
