Well, week 7 is now in the books. I gotta start by saying thanks to everyone for giving me your undivided attention last night. It's really nice when we can get through the announcements without interruption. If you weren't there last night (the 10th), this is what you missed:
12-17-14 is the next Bring Your Own Partner doubles. Remember, you may NOT have a repeat partner, your score will NOT be in the running for the year end score bounty and we will NOT have a Cali or a 6-some at this league. For now, go ahead and find your partner. I will open up registration by making a post on MONDAY. Please respond to that thread (and only that thread) with your partners name.
12-24-14 is Christmas Eve. If we have 12 or more who are interested in attending that day we'll go ahead and hold a league with all rules and bounties in play. IF we have this league, I'm asking everyone to please bring two wrapped gifts: 1 gag gift (please have fun with this) and 1 real disc golf related gift (no more than a $20 value). Please wrap all gifts in a manner where others will not know what's wrapped up... like a disc. All ties at this league will be settled by a throwoff. The winning teams will draw their two gifts first then the next, then the next... Also, secretly place the two gifts in my vehicle AFTER you register. Lastly, do not put your name on the gifts.
New Bounty: This one pays in the form of points, not cash. If you randomly partner up with the same person back-to-back weeks AND you score BETTER than the week before, I will double your points for that week. However, you may NOT pick a partner from week 7 (from the week before a BYOP league). Also, it is YOUR responsibility to notify me (before the end of night). I keep track of a lot of things (myself and with help from the Scene) but this is not something I will track.
