As usual, other optional pools and prizes will be offered as desired by the participants (i.e. optional cash CTBs, beer CTBs, etc.).
When playing hole 5 blue, players have the option of playing from the red tee with a one-throw penalty (i.e. tee shot = 2nd throw). However, an "ace" obtained in this manner will not count for the ace pool. A player teeing from the blue tee and throwing into the water has the option of playing the next throw from the blue tee again, or from the point the disc crossed into the water, or from the red tee (the usual penalty stroke applies to all these options).
** minimum three rounds (each round = 9 red + 9 blue) required to calculate handicap / players may submit score from rounds played outside of league for purposes of satisfying the 3-round requirement. Submit non-league round scores by PM, text or email to Duke. For players who had a handicap last winter, that end-of-season handicap may be used as one score to establish handicap this season (so only two additional rounds required). Players without an established handicap may participate in score pool play with a handicap equal to the lowest current handicap.
Note: as always, this activity is managed by local "club" players. It is not managed by Chicopee. However, all players should be responsible for having a valid disc golf membership or should pay the green fee to Chicopee.
The first day of league, November 23, will represent the initial distribution event for our club tags. Jon and Mike will be on hand for the distribution. Tags will be available at league events after that, or by special arrangement with Jon or Mike
