In case you haven't heard, the Boulder Woods Country Club is having this year's Llama Tag Finale on Sunday, November 23rd. This is the Sunday before Thanksgiving. It is an EXCLUSIVE event only for the Llama Tag members for 2014. We had 62 tag holders this year. There will be 2 rounds played for your final tag of the year. The first round will be played at the Boulder Woods course. Check in will be begin at 8:00 am with a 9:00 am start time. We will have lunch at Quaker's Challenge course between 3 & 6 fairway picnic area. Bring a side dish to share. There will be electricity available for crockpots, etc. and a small grill for cooking. After a quick lunch, the second round will begin on Quaker's Challenge course. When the round is finished, we will eat again, have some throwing contests and awards/prize ceremony.
Prizes will be handed out by calculating total score handicap rankings. Handicaps are figured on your average score for each course for this 2014 season. If you didn't play enough rounds on a particular course for an average, we'll figure something out. So, you have several weeks to "pad" your score for a Finale handicap. Total Raw scores will determine which Llama gets the lowest tags for the 2014 year.
I hope you can all make it. Plan to have a fun time playing disc golf with Llamas you've seen all year and some that you haven't seen much. If you can't make it, and have a reasonably low tag, consider handing it in for the Finale so it can be thrown in the mix for the day. We will see that you get a Llama tag of some number after all the attendees get a tag for playing.
