My recent profile post: West Michigan has momentum in the growth of discgolf that can make this area what Silicon Valley is to IT. New evidence of this is found in Berrien Co. in two parks off Exit 28/ I 94. Benton Township Park yesterday featured a temporary course and a small gathering of players who responded to the hopeful invitation of Larry Leonardi and friends. With another established park accross the beautiful St.Joseph River (Riverview), a venue for major tournaments can be imagined. I'll start with this: The Michigan, Indiana, Illinois (Tri-State) Championships. Rotation around the southern curve of Lake Michigan would further cement West Michigan's role on the National scene.
