Hi Bill. All players are first sorted by rating from highest to lowest. The top 25-30 ratings (give or take depending on where the break is) go into the A Pool. The rest of the list is then run A,B, C, D down the list until we have 72 players in the A Pool. Then the rest of the list is then run B,C,D until all the pools are filled. This front loads the A Pool a bit, then spreads the ratings around the other pools. On Wednesday night the shuffle occurs and thereon it is based purely on the playeru2019s performance in the first three rounds.
