This was week 3 of leagues at Ira, and again new players showed up. Id like to welcome my partner, and absolute new to the sport, had never even thrown a disc once before joining us, Matt Wojcik who was a great addition to our league. We hope you will join us again Matt.
Congrats to the Cali and winner of the round, Allen... some really nice LONG puts, solidified him as the leagues record for the course at a nice -11 under.
The ace pool grew to $47 tonight, and we had two close calls. My self(Neil) hitting solid chains on 7 short, but it wasn't enough and it slipped out. also Allen, in his triumphant return this week, hit basket on 7 long, as well as another close call on 2 short but no metal there. That ace is bound to be broke soon enough. Until then, the pool keeps growing so show up!
The CTP was hole 6 short this week, and Neil wasn't able to defend his last week's win. Allen yet again, w the hot round, managed to park it for the CTP win. He went home w the disc and the $9 CTP pool this week. Congrats again Allen.
The players end of the year pool has grown to $39 (the extra dollar is from Mike paying for next week as well, today)
The league has managed to raise $78 for the course fund, and Kevin donated $2 to make the over all course fundraising total at $80
Remember, the 20th (10 days from now, a week from sunday) is the tournament. I encourage you all to go to the page for it, on here, and pre reg to help promote a good turn out. Spread the word!
