Fairmont basket rotation update... 1 and 2 are back to short positions while 3 was moved deep. 5 moved to deep position and 6 moved back in the trees to the left position. 8 is ready for some ace runs in the short position. 13 is short and 14 is in the tunnel to the left. 16 is down the tunnel and 17 is ready for the tomahawk ace. Enjoy the course disc golf crazies!

Sounds like more fun! Would have helped, but yeah, working nights meant I was in bed by the time you all started.

Thanks for doing all that. Can I make a suggestion for the committee? I think it would be nice if #1 and #2 were either short-long, or long-short. It is demoralizing to have them both long and start out 2-3 over par almost every time I play.

I agree Jon, those two fairways should alternate being "Long". To All, the reason they were both Long last month was to show off our course to visiting disc golfers (in town for the Little Apple Open).

ya and the dynamic guys birdied the entire front 9! WTF! time to step up our game I guess!!!

Rick Petrie   June 3, 2014 at 1:22pm

That's funny. Where'd you hear that Sean?

Jon Tveite   June 5, 2014 at 9:10am

I would find it very hard to believe anyone birdied the long position on #1 on one try!

Rick Petrie   June 5, 2014 at 9:21am

Ya. I assume Sean is joking. Mark and I played Fairmont with Smitty (The LAO TD) and Brandon Nelson (tied for 2nd in Open). Neither of them birdied the entire front 9.

if you play hole one par four like the sign says, it's a Pretty easy birdie.

We are definitely dedicated to having an ever changing course set up where at times it will be long or short but most of the time it will be a mix.
