Chris Leo: The Gale Vaughn Memorial will be moved from Rive

The Gale Vaughn Memorial will be moved from River Bends and Stony Creek to be exclusively held at Addison Oaks. Meaning both rounds will be held there. It is being moved due to the flooding that has taken over River Bends that is hindering us from completing the course in time and allowing the park to cut the grass. River Bends still needs work to be done before it is completely ready for play, work has been done and is nearing completion.

If you already pre-registered and would like a refund due to the move in venue please contact I and I will gladly do that for you. Since Addison Oaks is now hosting the event it will be capped at 88 players. We will play at least 18 holes with the possibility of expanding it to 20 depending on the attendance.

If your curious to what divisions are playing what tee pads here they are:
All Pro and Advanced divisions will be playing Long/Long
Masters and Intermediate (MA2) Long/Short
All others will be playing short/short

Since there maybe out of county residents coming to play will see if they are willing to do a flat entrance fee if you are playing in the tournament. I can't guarantee this, only ask and see what they say.

It would be Doug, but if people are paying to get into both parks, $10, and then $2 to play Stony not to mention they are a little but of a drive from one another. Not much, but certainly longer then River Bends to Stony or vice versa.

yeah I forgot addison charges so much if you dont have a pass. Im down to start a donation pot for people that are unable to carpool in with someone that has a pass. IDK I feel last year having the change between the courses is what made me like this tournament so much. Also at the same time i imagine even just having to move the event is hassle enough. Chris you already do so much Im sorry to even protest man see you out there.
