Bill Griffith  › 2013 National Seniors Championship   July 13, 2013 at 4:47pm

Only one more week until the first disc golf event ever offered in the National Senior Games and still plenty of open space. Registration is currently sitting at 42. The NSG portion of the event is closed but the PDGA National Senior Championship part is still open until Wed. July 17th.

The NSG sent out information to all registered players but made a few mistakes:

The location of the practice round on Friday will be at Veterans Park in Parma at 6:-00 pm, not at Sims Park in Euclid.

The schedule will be players ages 50-69 - 2 rounds of 18 holes both days (no final 9)
70 + - 1 round of 18 holes both days (no final 9)

All NSG players must check-in at Cleveland Convention Center on Friday before 5:00 pm and pick up their players NSG packers pack there. All players must also check-in Saturday before 9:30 am at the course at Veterans Park in Parma. They will receive their disc golf players pack and food tickets.

Lunch will be provided both days at the course. There will be a dinner provided after the last round on Sunday as part of the Awards Ceremony at Scotti's restaurant which is about 5 minutes from Sims Park. If you are bringing a guest, they can also have lunch and dinner at $5 for each lunch and $10 for dinner. We need to know ahead of time if you will be bringing a guest for lunch or dinner. Also, let us know ahead of time if you would want a vegetarian lunch. The player's social on Saturday night has been canceled but players are encouraged to visit the Athletes Village at the Convention Center.
