Ace rules....
There continues to be some talk about out-of-towners "Ace Hunting" at Doubles League to score a big cash pot.
Hasn't happened recently, but some old-timers will tell the story of how a dark stranger drifted into town one dusty day, robbed everyone blind, then disappeared, never to be seen again...
I'm all for democracy, so I'll let the group decide on this one. Right now we hold back $10 for every $50 in the Ace Fund when someone gets a hole-in-one in order to replenish the fund more quickly.
In addition, we COULD hold back HALF of the fund if a First Time League Player hits an Ace. This wouldn't necessarily keep a Shark from coming to town for the Ace Fund, but it would prevent them from cleaning out the entire Ace Fund, should they be skilled and lucky enough to hit an Ace.
