Are you interested in helping shape the future of disc golf in the Manhattan area? If your answer is “YESâ€, then please keep reading.
With the explosion of disc golf in the area, it is becoming apparent that our sport needs an organized “club†to help our sport navigate through future opportunities & dilemmas. As much as we try to discuss disc golf topics as we play our rounds, it is not the most effective way of identifying goals then achieving those goals.
With that in mind, I have reserved a meeting room (as described above) so we can set down & discuss whatever disc golf thoughts might be on your mind.

How to establish DFOK as an actual tax exempt not-for-profit ( 501(c)(3) ) organization.
Course “Work Days†(Trash clean-up, Tuttle basket repairs, Warner stump removal, etc.).
Becoming more visible in the community (proving demonstrations & public speaking)
Establishing “Course Representatives†for area courses.
Fairmont tee pad improvement project.
Using handicapped scoring for the 2012-2013 Flint Hills Points League.
Expansion of current courses & identifying potential new courses.
