for restless wind and heavy rain,
I hear the sound of chains again
the bitter cold or perfect warm
sweet release flies from my arm

a little high, a little low
I learn in tune with every throw
everything I love and know
that came from those who made it so

and as we grow
amongst the ranks
I remember
to Give thanks.

for eveytime i say fore
I'll think of ways to give it more
to this great game that I adore
that came from those who came before
