Hello disc golfers,
A "GLOW ROUND" of disc golf will be played this week, on TUESDAY NIGHT! (Nov. 15th).
The format will be Casual so NO Flint Hills League Points will be awarded; however playing for you Flint Hills Bag Tag is encouraged.
WHO: Everyone is welcome, new & veteran players alike.
WHAT: One “glow round†of 9 holes, probably more for those wanting more.
WHEN: Tuesday Nov. 15th at 6pm (This Tuesday).
WHERE: FAIRMONT Disc Golf Course, Manhattan KS. (Should be super safe under foot in the dark).
WHAT’S A GLOW ROUND?
For those of you who do not know, some people play disc golf in the dark. It is possible by throwing "glow" discs (plastic that’s made to glow in the dark) and/or by attaching glowing devices to baskets & discs. Mark Kewley has graciously already purchased glow sticks to light up the baskets, so all you have to do is get your disc(s) to glow. Many local stores sell glow items that you can attach to discs (see examples below), so it’s not too late for you to gear up for this glow round.
