Wow. What a week!
40 players braved the bright sunshine, warm temp, and zero wind out at Orchard Park this week.
Jason Hicks and Luis Nava took advantage of the perfect conditions and shot a perfect -18 down. In addition to taking first place, they both will take home a $50 gift certificate to Next Adventure.
Matt Schroeder aced hole 5 and shared the $38 ace pot with his partner. He also won a CTP on that hole - an Innova dri-fit T-shirt donated by Rainy Day Games. And the Next Adventure Random Ace of the night? You guessed it - hole 5. Matt and his partner win a $25 gift certificate to Next Adventure.

Usually I don't post about aces that don't happen during the round, but this is too good to pass up. Immediately before the round began, Chris Hill (my son) got his first ace on hole 1. Immediately after the round, Matthew Hill (my other son) got his first ace on hole one. That's right - two brothers both got their first ace on the same hole 2 1/2 hours apart. Now I've got to teach those boys to save those aces for during the round!
