"In the true spirit of the 'CHA' and playing for the game, it will be a free game for all those that want to enjoy the game with some of the states finest pirates...
Side games within the groups may include Dirty Dollars and CTPs for those who want to participate" - No fee to play in this league round - FREE Double Points!!!

Don't be surprised by any shenanigans and wacky prizes. You will learn the pirate way to detect if there are other 24 chain members any where on a course or to communicate; that you are having fun, say hello, Nice Shot and the list goes on and on... CHAAAA!!!!! This league is all about having fun, helping people learn the sport in a very friendly environment from beginners to braggers.
Normally this league rotates courses and plays all the local Ann Arbor area courses and a few others from time to time.

This week they will be playing the Ponds at Lakeshore which has a Disc Golf Pro Shop - "The Throw Shop"
The Ponds at Lakeshore:
A former ball golf course makes for a very clean, long, open and fun round. Two ponds, with one tough shot over water. Features a 990' foot hole and course-side apartments. Never muddy, no rough, an enjoyable round in any weather. Do not climb fence.
Follow blue/white paint on basket to next tee.
Private apt. complex but course is open to public during daylight hours- treat it as a park.
Beginner and stroller friendly.
Home of The Throw Shop- Michigan's Disc Golf Pro Shop. 4,000+ discs, and everything else you need to play. Cold drinks and snacks. Staffed by experienced players. Open M-F Noon-6pm, Sat-Sun 11am-6pm. 734-657-1699
If you have not been to the park before here are the local directions:
I-94; Exit #187 (Rawsonville Rd.) south 2 blocks to a right on S. Grove St. 1 mile to a left into Lakeshore Apt. Complex just after Bridge St. 1st tee in front of the Throw Shop disc golf store. Show I.D. at gate.
