Our Ace Race is different then the Discraft Ace Race's.
For your $15 in cash entry fee and either $5 or a new disc you will be entered to play in the event.
The $15 goes into the ace pool, which will be split between all people who get an ace. the $5 (used to buy merch for dots) or a new disc goes into the dot pot prize pool.
Ace's are obvious.
Dots are awarded everytime you hit metal on your drive. This would be the pole, basket face, chains, top etc. Aces do not count as dots as they are for cash prizes.
For each dot you get in the round you have a chance to get a prize out of the dot prize pool.
So you either have to pay $15 and a new disc or $20 to enter the event.
Most of the holes on the original course will be shortened so you have 48 chances at getting aces and 48 chances at getting a dot(s).
Ace pool in years gone past has been as high as $2500 split by 6 people. 2 years ago only 1 ace and it got the winner $1200.
You play with any disc(s) you want you only throw 1 shot per hole.
