Lets say you play Open during the tournament: If you still end up in the top 4 in points for Am1 after the tournament (receiving 0 points for "finals" in Am1), you will be playing in the Am1 skins.
Finals points are doubled, so your 14 point cushion on 5th place really works out to 7 places. Dan Glass would have to beat or tie 7 players to pass you.
