I was asked a few questions that I wanted to address regarding the series points.
Points are only earned in the division the player competes for that event. If a player voluntarily moves up to compete in an older division, any points earned previously in a lower age division will not transfer across divisions. This is for fairness since points are earned based on the finishing place within a division. At the end of the series, which ever division they finished highest in will be the place they are awarded for the series.
For example: On the series leaderboard if the player is in 4th place in MJ15 and 2nd place in MJ12, they would be awarded for the MJ12 finish.
Another question was regarding series points awarded for an incomplete event. If a player does not finish (DNF) for the event, they will earn 50% of the series points awarded for their finishing place (which will be last).
For example: they will earn 5 points if they are the only participant in that division and do not finish all rounds. If there were 5 players in their division, last place WOULD earn 6 points, so the player who DNF would earn 3 points.
