Is Schenley Park a good place to watch the Fourth of July firework show in Pittsburgh? We’ll be arriving at 3:30 PM at the airport and would appreciate any insight as to where to go that won’t be extremely crowded like the mt Washington incline area. Jun 30
Mark Fedorenko Jun 30Historically, the fireworks show has been near The Point where the 3 rivers meet. Schenley does not have a good view to that area. I do not think they have moved, but it would be worth checking.
Michael Heisner Jr Jun 30Watch Points: Prime viewing is available at Point State Park, the North Shore, Mt. Washington (Grandview Park), or by booking a special fireworks cruise via the Gateway Clipper Fleet.
The North Shore, Mount Washington, and Point State Park are my top recommendations for the Pittsburgh fireworks show.
