You could also have everyone play blues. I will likely sign up for ma40 but would prefer to not be the only one playing gold. If the group of people playing golds is small then the ratings are done manually and some pretty strange stuff can happen

Hi Wes, a solid idea. Pace of play is a deep consideration, as we will have a range of beginner to experienced players at this holiday weekend event. Hope both Pools can have a solid number of players for ratings — and balance card pace during the event.
