A smaller turnout than the previous week at NorthRidge came out for our round last Wednesday, with 23 players showing up. We had some slightly threatening weather with storm clouds moving in & around us while we played the back half of the course, holes 10-19 (x2) with a par of 64. Luckily the weather held off for the most part with just some winds & light rain hitting us during the round. Sprow/Arnet shot the hot round of the evening with a -13 score & taking solo first cash. ::claps:: Second, third & fourth (last) cashing spots were split evenly between 3 tying teams. Those teams included Pardo/Joseph, Quiton/Thelen & Powell/Blansett, all teams with -11 scores.

Our next two rounds (June 17th & 24th) will be held at Mary Beth Doyle. Unfortunately the weather prediction for tonights round is not looking fantastic with rain predicted to start at 5pm & going into the early hours of the morning. For right now, it’s just looking like heavy rain & hopefully the lightning/thunderstorms will stay away. Please come prepared with your rain gear, extra towels & water resistant shoes, as we still intend to play tonight at MBD. Most likely we’ll be playing the “Winter Loop” layout to keep things moving faster & keep everyone closer to the parking lot. If the weather worsens with lightning/thunderstorms in the prediction, we’ll keep everyone updated via DiscGolfScene and Facebook. See you all later tonight!
