Welcome
Thank you for participating in the inaugural Memorial Weekend Unity Cup presented by the Vets Disc Golf Club of Central Ohio. This event directly benefits the 2nd Annual Adaptive Disc Golf & Sports Clinic, taking place September 25–27, 2026. Last year, the Vets Disc Golf Club hosted the first PDGA sanctioned tournament designed specifically for players with adaptive needs. Through your participation, you are helping provide discs, adaptive equipment, player amenities, awards, and other resources that make this event possible.100% of tournament proceeds support the Adaptive Disc Golf & Sports Clinic.
Player Check-In & Parking
• All participants must park in the Tri-Village Church parking lot
• All players must check in at Tournament Headquarters prior to teeing off
• Teams may begin play only after completing check-in
Tournament Format
Tee Times
• Flex start between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM
• Teams may begin play at any time during the event window
• If no other team is available to accompany your card, a tournament official will follow your team
Course Layout
• All divisions will play from the short tees
Scoring
• All scoring will be completed through the UDisc app
• At least one player on each card must keep score using UDisc
• Players are responsible for reviewing and verifying scores before the card is submitted
• Any scoring discrepancies should be reported to Tournament Headquarters immediately upon completion of the round
• Final standings will be determined by the scores submitted through UDisc
Course Notes
Hole 6
• Water is Out of Bounds (OB)
Hole 7
• Double Mandatory (Mando) marked by poles with orange arrows and tape
• A missed mandatory results in a one-stroke penalty
• Players must proceed to the designated drop zone marked by orange cones
• Play continues from the drop zone with the penalty stroke applied
Hole 9
• Island hole
• Tee shots must clear the black barrier to be considered in bounds
• A shot that fails to land in bounds on the island must be rethrown from the tee pad
• No penalty stroke is assessed for missing the island
• Players will continue reteeing until a shot lands in bounds
Hole 17
• Fence line is Out of Bounds
• Any disc inside the fenced area is considered OB
Casual Water
• Any water on the course other than Hole 6 is considered casual water
• Players may throw from the lie or move straight back on the line of play without penalty
Division Awards
• Division winners will receive store credit to Disc Golf Mart
• Winners will be announced after the final card has been turned in and all scores have been verified
• Players are encouraged to remain on site until final results are announced
• Winners who are not present at the time of announcement will be contacted by email
• Store credit winners who are not present may visit Disc Golf Mart at a later date to redeem their winnings
Closest to Pin (CTP)
CTP Entry
• $5 per CTP entry
• Buy two CTP entries and receive a third entry free
CTP Holes
• Hole 1 – 276 ft (downhill)
• Hole 6 – 257 ft
• Hole 18 – 205 ft
Awards
• One winner per division on each CTP hole
• Winners may select a disc provided by the Columbus Flyers and the Vets Disc Golf Club of Central Ohio
Mulligans
Pricing
• $5 per mulligan
• Buy 8 and receive 1 free
Rules
• Maximum of 9 mulligans per team
• Only 1 mulligan may be used per hole
• Only 1 player on the team may use the mulligan
• Mulligans must be declared before the next throw is made
• Mulligans may be used on drives, upshots, or putts
• Mulligan cards and tracking sheets will be provided
