Best shot - each player tees off, takes an upshot, and putts out (if needed). Each time choosing the best lie.
Alternate shot - team decides which player will take the only tee shot. The other player must play the 2nd shot. Continue alternating until holing out. Whoever makes the putt, your partner must tee off on the next hole.
