• Any disputes needed to be resolved before the next hole is started. Decisions are up to the other two card mates. If they cannot agree, call me 301-204-0067.
• Each pair can play from whichever tee (red, white, blue) to any basket they agree to, with several constraints. If they cannot agree, the default is short (red tee) to short (in order, A, B, C, D) pin, whichever are available. Important: if your card is holding up the card behind you, you must play short to short. Most holes have a basket in either the A or B position and quite a few holes will have multiple baskets available (1
, 2, 5, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16
, 18, 19, 21, 22, 23, 27). - new and not on the tee sign
• Brad Lescalleet will be taking a penalty stroke on the first hole of all of his matches. I will try to highlight those holes but make no promises. If you are playing him make sure to remember.
• In the morning matches, do not break ties in individual matches. In afternoon matches, a team needs to win three individual matches to win the team match. If your individual match is tied after nine holes, play two holes sudden death and then return to tournament central to see if more are needed. If neither team has won three matches, play additional holes close to tournament central 1, 2, 10, 11, 27, 19, 9, rinse and repeat. Skip holes that someone else is playing to make the process quick.
• Out of bounds by the creek on holes 3, 4, 5, (6, if you are really unlucky), 13, and 14. If the rope is broken, use the straight line between neighboring posts. If there is no rope, use two meters from the edge of the water. Out of bounds on hole 1 is the fence – do not retrieve disc unless you can reach under the fence and get it.
• Mandatories on holes 16 and 25, use the novice tees as the drop zones. For the mandatory on hole 23 for the long pin position the otherwise unused old teepad close to the mando. Anywhere on that teepad is fine.
• If your match has finished, but the other one has not, you are welcome to play subsequent holes with them provided you do so courteously
• After both matches have finished, start the next pair of matches.
• Circle the winners for each match on each score card.
