There were a number of scheduling problems that made it unclear if we could effectively manage the quality of the event that we wanted to produce. We chose to work with the PDGA to downgrade the event to a B-tier, rather than fail to meet expectations with a sub par A-tier.
That said, we are still working to make sure that the quality of the event is high in spite of the challenges we faced this year.
