Catching up on league round recaps, here’s what happened over the past few weeks. Starting with the most recent round from April 29th.

Our round last week was played at Bandemer during non-stop rain or sprinkling rain. It was wet & chilly all night, which made for some tough conditions during a round of RW+WR pads. Didn’t seem to phase Quiton/Thelen though, who shot -15 & took solo first cash by 4 strokes! Great job! Second & third (last) cash was split evenly between Herron/Paquin & Sprow/Kim, both teams with -11 scores.

Our next league round on May 6th will be held at Mary Beth Doyle. Hopefully the weather turns out better this week with just overcast skies in the forecast currently.

There were 32 players that joined our league round on a nice night. Temps were around 50º at tee off & the rain held off until the very end of the night after payouts. We played a B3, W3, R3 + R3, B3, W3 layout which lead to a hot score of -14 shot by Thelen/Sprow & taking solo first cash! There was a tie for second & third place between Fifer/Wolodkin & Rusinek/Quiton with -13 scores. A disc flip decided Rusinek/Qution would take the majority of the cash. Fourth cash went to Blansett/Herron, shooting -12. Brayton/Krumm took last cash with a -11 score.

There was great weather for our 2nd round of the season at Mary Beth Doyle with temps in the mid 60s. & no precipitation. 25 people came out to play an all Short pad layout. Hot score for the evening was a -18 shot by Thelen/Krumm, taking solo first cash. Yay! Second cash went to Quiton/Paquin with a -15 score. Third cash was taken by Sprow/Oid, shooting -14. Brayton/Webb took last cash with a -13 score.
Congratulations to Richard Thelen & Chris Paquin, who both hit aces during the round. Rich got Hole 4 on the first throw of the night & Chris got Hole 11 on the last throw of the night! They each got a $53 payout & added 30 points to their league standing.
