Keeping on trend, my emails are getting progressively shorter and shorter.

We had a great first day to kick-off the 2026 Christie Spring Fling. Tomorrow we'll be awarding our winners as each division finishes their final hole of the event; once you've completed your round, we ask and welcome players to stay and cheer on their fellow competitors around the final green.
We'll also note that lunch with be each player's responsibility tomorrow. Bring a cooler, lunch, snacks, drinks and make an afternoon out of socializing with friends from across the Province watching everyone finish once your round is complete.
Trophies & Awards
Each amateur division winner will receive their custom-made 2026 Spring Fling Owl trophy. We ask that the division winner stop to take a photo to celebrate their victory next to the lake immediately following the round. Both pro and amateur divisions winners will also be presented with our large snowy owl trophy for a picture along with having their name etched into the history books alongside past champions for this year-over-year award.

Amateur CTPs
We'll have a few bonus prizes available on the course tomorrow as well. First, courtesy of DragonLion Prints (John Macleod & Sponsored Player Tobin Izatt) we will have the following prizes:
- 4 hats (MA50, FA50, MA60 & MA70)
- 2 proto Ram Horns (MPO + FPO)
- 1 Dragon Jaw open draw to all AMs
- Beavertail and disc combo: 1 each for MA40 and for FA40
We also have disc CTPs for all the remaining amateur divisions on hole D (The Pound Hole).
Amateur Card Winners - Round 2
Every single amateur card is playing for a prize on Sunday. Win your card in round 2 and you’re taking home a brand new release. Come see us beside on the final green when your card finishes to claim your prize.
*In the event of a tie, the prize will go to the player with the fewest bogies or worse.
Player's Packs
Didn't get your player's pack day 1? Come see us in the marina pavilion before your round on Sunday and we'll take care of you. If anyone would like to purchase any remaining inventory, please visit us after 12pm to see what sizes are left.
Basket Placement Changes
The baskets on holes C, E have been moved for Sunday, and the basket on H (the island) has been shifted ever so slightly towards the lake, with the drop zone now ON the island to avoid interfering with hole E. Please note that there is a mandatory on hole C now (the massive tree on the corner). Players must travel around the tree completely to be considered to have "made" the mandatory (rather than through it).
If you have any questions or need our attention for anything, please reach out after email for the remainder of the evening or via text anytime after 6:30am tomorrow morning. We can't wait to watch each division's story unfold through a thrilling final round tomorrow.
