Player meeting info, please read!
Course address:
10300 E Remus Rd, Mt. Pleasant MI 48858
Thank you all for registering for the inaugural BYOP Fundraiser at Odyssey. Please bring cash and pay in the morning. We will be playing the new Onion Creek layout, best shot doubles. We will accept walk ups until 8:45. There will be a short players meeting at 9:00 am and we will tentatively tee off near 9:30. 1st place winners will all receive a quart sized jug of Shepherd Maple Syrup! All payouts will be payed in cash following the event.
Parking will be tight, carpool if you can. Please try to park as close as you can to the vehicle next to you. If we run out of parking, please parallel park on the north side of Remus Road.
Please do not park in front of the neighbors house. Do not park in front of the gravel road that leads to the pipeline.
We will have a portapotty on site.
There is currently construction on the pipeline. There WILL be workers working on Saturday. They have equipment set up on the gravel trail that is OB. Do not cross the caution tape on the left side of hole 2 and hole 4. If your discs lands beyond the caution tape, consider it lost. If you can get your disc with a retriever, that is fine. We just ask to not go into their work zone or cross the caution tape, thank you. I will do my best to retrieve your disc after the tournament.
Please no smoking or open flames on hole 4 and 7.
Please do not take any photos of the pipeline work crew.
All divisions will play the short tee on 16. Holes 5, 6, 9, 10, and 17 have only one tee pad.
Please use caution when crossing the bridge between holes 7 and 8.
The path between holes 7 and 8 is very muddy. Waterproof shoes are recommended. There is standing water on holes 11 and 15. All brush piles and standing water on the course are designated casual relief areas. If your disc comes to rest in one of these areas, you may take free relief by marking a new lie on the line of play, at the nearest point outside the area, no closer to the target. We do not want players getting hurt by playing from these areas.
There are a lot of stumps that remain on the course. Many are spray painted orange, please mind your step.
The road on 18 is out of bounds. If you happen to land in or past the road, please cautiously retrieve your disc.
Black Swamp Discs will be vending all day. 10% of the proceeds from discs sold at the event will be donated back to the course improvement fund. Please support him and check out his selection of plastic for sale.
There will be a raffle held after the tournament. We will be selling raffle tickets before and after for $5 each.
