Hi Austin. check out nefa.com for all of the information about the point series. basically NEFA is a 501c3 organization that supports players and courses throughout new england. Players compete for points that enable them to qualifty for the final championship event in october. membership dues also support grants for courses and schools. Third and perhaps most important, NEFA is the :"soul" of New England disc golf. Its founders are responsible for the proliferation of courses, tournaments, and volunteers that drive our community.
