Also while I'm at it I've noticed a few topics of conversation that I feel might need to be addressed. One might not go over as easy as others, but must be brought to the fore front. As many have heard the stories the 24 started out really small, and while we might not be pulling 100 people every round we are a well point bigger then we use to be. As is such our members stretch over the better of Michigan, and across the entire calender year. Yep you can tell where this is going. It use to be common for players to call their birthday rounds in the past years. Sad to say this will likely come to an end with 2012 (unlike the world). We have been having issues maintaining a fair ability to vote when there is almost a birthday every week. We will be fair and finish out the year, but leading in to 2013 we will be trying to reaffirm what we were always about. There will always be special cases when once in a life time events are celebrated by the club, and all birthdays will be reconized in celebration with extra shinanagins to the child of the hour, but we wish to retain the ability to vote for the whole club to decide when and where we play. We still encorage players to announce their birthday coming up so we can as a group make sure we have special provisions for the special day. All that being said after this year there will be no more calling of the birthday round. And for anyone who might gripe about it remember that my actual birthday was swapped from a round to work day so know I feel your pain.
