I’d like to express that I don’t believe this change is necessary, yes there is always a back up on this hole but it is my belief that it is due to the second shot not the tee shot.

There was an extraordinary circumstance at the last tournament where there was 3’ of casual standing water that ended up being more punishing than traditional OB with multiple players taking stroke and distance penalties.

I think you are sacrificing the hole and will not mitigate the “issue” which will likely be mostly be resolved by 3 holes returning to the course 2 of which take up more time individually than 5 and 9. But also the flooding of those holes should be resolved by the end of May improving the flow of the course.

There will always be a backup on that hole but there’s always a back up on Monster there’s constantly back ups on 18 Kensington Green, I don’t feel this hole should be treated differently.

I appreciate the input Dan. Were gonna try it for this event. If we dont see an obvious improvement well do something else. We've had a dozen events here now and just about every one has that back up. We have to try something. Those 30 min backups are unacceptable.
