Tee assignments have been finalized. I aim to get OB list finalized at least a week before the event. OB will be standard for the course. All hazards in play, path ob, etc. Apr 16

2. I didn’t want conflicting/confusing comments and would rather just direct people to the about section for tournament info
Jeffrey Schuner Apr 16I just don't understand why it's so difficult to let the lower divisions play the layout more compatible to their abilities, but whatever.

Conflicting and confusing comments have only come up from switching up the tournament after registration is complete.
Instead of having players compete two rounds on a layout that they did not sign up for that is above their rating and comfort level why not have the mp players bump down to the white layout. That would also solve your concerns with the shotgun start and would avoid slow play.
Kind of wish you left it was it was when we signed up.

1. At the time of registration, there were no tee assignments posted yet. I made some preliminary tee assignments at the request of participants after people had already registered for the event, but nothing was set in stone, hence why I added "subject to change".
2. I can understand that changes to the event could be a deal breaker for some. I believe I 3+ weeks in advance is more than enough notice and you are welcome to withdraw from the event if you want. I will provide a full refund, there is a sizeable waitlist.
I want to provide the best possible tournament experience without having to mix a bunch of divisions together on the same card who are playing separate tees or be forced to create many 3-somes and 5-somes to make tee assignments work. With 2 layouts being played this becomes significantly easier and shouldn't meaningfully effect pace of play. This is the tee configuration that has been used for years for the sanctioned singles league and it has run smoothly. Between Blue/White and White/Red, I chose Blue/White because I think that provides the best challenge for the field and promotes the competitive aspect of the tournament I am hoping to achieve. I apologize if this caused frustration, I realize I probably should have held off on posting tees until I had a concrete answer.
Jeffrey Schuner Apr 161 or 2 cards with mixed divisions doesn't seem to complicated to me. I was looking forward to this tournament but not anymore. 'nuff said.

I'm all for this decision. It's nice to play a different layout than every other tournament that's hosted here. Your skill should maintain the score spread within your division regardless of whether or not the holes are a little longer. Everyone in your division is playing the same tees. It shouldn't matter.

Thank you for hosting this tournament, Tyler.
