Yes we'll be at Davis tomorrow. Trails are collapsing, but also the snow is getting crusty. So harder walking, but maybe better opportunity to go home with all of your plastic. With the goon doing it's spring melt/marsh thing, we may finish up week 10 at Davis as well. I'll keep an eye on it.
Week 8 Recap:
Had a bigger showing from folks last week at Westchester. Whether it was the nice weather, or people just skip Davis, I don't know.
Groves took down the overall win with his -10, while I was able to comfortably stay in second for A pool. Scott looks like he birdied 5 in a row with holes 5-9. I believe that was yellow baskets, so pretty impressive sir. He also had zero bogies. I had bogies, thus the whole 2nd place thingy.
B pool was a tie for first until Naz reminded me he's a big boy now and he's actually A pool. Good job buddy, you got third in A pool when ya could've walked away with some cash. That'll teach you that improving is not always an improvement. But Britton who took solo first appreciates your dedication. Britt shot -6 while Briseno got second place with his -3. Britt shot -1 on the yellows and -5 on the reds. I guess he's more of an alternative guy.
C pool was not a particularly close race. Lukas won by 8 strokes over his foes. And he did it with a turkey on holes 15-17! Nice job dude. He's shooting above his rating by 33 points so far this leagues series. Don't get too good or you'll ruin a good thing like Munoz did.
Nobody birdied hole 3, heck, less than half the field was even able to par that dang bastard. There were some nice solo birds out there Dan(4,13), Killian (10), Naz (14). 17 was the most birdied with 9 out of 13 of us getting it.
