“The snow is melting. The scores are not.”
Week 5 brought the league back to the long layout, and with a sunny day finally settling over the Valley, players took full advantage. The fairways were faster, the footing was cleaner, and the scores exploded.
???? A Tier — Isaiah Does It Again
Just two weeks after firing the highest-rated round league history has ever seen, Isaiah Gall came right back and dropped another monster.
A ridiculous -12 round earned Isaiah a 1018-rated round, proving his 1033 at Whispering Goats was no fluke. He is officially on a different level right now.
Right behind him:
Allen Black — -10
Justin Foster — -10
Kelly Allen — -9
Morgan Leeds — -6, returning from what felt like a full winter hibernation and immediately reminding everyone he can still score.
Thomas Voight — -4
Naz Munoz — -1
At this point, A-tier feels like an arms race. If you’re not shooting double digits under par, you’re probably losing ground.
⚔️ B Tier — Foley Stays Steady
Christopher Foley took the B-tier win with a solid -5, continuing one of the most consistent runs of the cycle.
Behind him:
Adam Fogelman — Even
Scott Foster — Even
Wayne Danjin — +1
Scott Bowen — +2
David Griffin — +3
B-tier remains packed tightly together, and every week feels like it could completely flip the standings.
???? C Tier — Jerrin Keeps Climbing
After exploding for a -7 last week, Jerrin Fabrello kept the momentum going with a +1, continuing to prove he may not belong in C tier much longer.
Kevin Vacca — +2, but his score almost didn’t matter because he hit the biggest moment of the day — his first ace ever, smashing hole 3 and finally getting that monkey off his back.
Tae Voight — +2
Tom Willoughby — +10
If Jerrin keeps trending upward, B-tier may be calling sooner rather than later.
❄️ D Tier — Rheannon Stands Alone
Rheannon Fabrello — +15
Rheannon keeps showing up and grinding through every week, but at this point D-tier is getting lonely.
Seriously… where are Carrie and Jax?
The chains are waiting.
???? Week 6 Preview — Flood Watch
Next week is currently scheduled for Whispering Goats, but there’s a problem…
The course is slightly flooded.
A final call will be made Saturday night and posted, but if Whispering Goats is playable, expect another wild week. If not, players may have to adjust quickly.
Either way, Dawn of the Chains is entering the back half of the season.
Five weeks down.
Five to go.
