Copy of email sent on April 5:
Hey everyone!
We’re less than two weeks away from the Spring Open! This email includes important information to help you prepare for the tournament on April 18. We’ll be sending at least one more email the week of the tournament with the caddie book, overview map, course conditions, and anything we may have forgotten to include here.

The top three finishers in each division will earn a bid to the Ontario Provincial Championship in Kemptville. Layouts for Each Division
The White and Red layouts are available on UDisc; they’re labelled “White - Spring Open 2026” and “Red - Spring Open 2026”. A finalized caddie book and layout map will be sent next week.
(Round 1 / Round 2)
White / White: MPO, MP40, MA1
White / Red: FPO, MP50, MP60, MA40, MA50, FA1, MA2
Red / Red: MA70, FA70, MA60, FA60, FA50, FA40, FA2, MA3, FA3
Note: The White layout currently plays Hole 6 from the Red tee, Hole 10 from the Blue/White tee, and Hole 16 from the Blue/White tee.
Weather Outlook
The 14-day weather outlook for Enterprise suggests the course will be reasonably wet for the tournament, especially around holes 14–17. If the predicted weather pattern holds, we have a couple of contingency plans for these holes to make the out-of-bounds lines make sense while also reducing play in wetter areas. Stay tuned for an update next week.
Chili Lunch Pre-Order
Pre-orders are still available for a bowl of Andrew’s famous meat or veggie chili. I understand it’s difficult to plan meals two weeks in advance, but for only $15 you can take care of your food at the tournament. To pre-order (and avoid PayPal fees), please send $15 to [email redacted] and include your name and whether you’re ordering meat or veggie chili.
Practice Rounds
Practice rounds are $15 for a day pass, payable by cash or e-transfer. Practice rounds are not included in the tournament entry fee, and everyone is expected to pay if you are not already a member.
Camping
A friendly reminder that on-site camping can be reserved or cancelled without much hassle. Please let us know if you’re bringing a camper so we can help find an appropriate place to park.
Enjoy the long weekend, and we can’t wait to see everyone soon!
Thanks,
Cam, Barry, & Sonja
