Go ahead a venmo the league fee to get signed up for some Westchester disc golf this Saturday. Pads are still holding up thanks to some sweat equity by someone (I believe Pete) to chip out and drain a couple troublesome pads.
Week 7 Recap:
Costales birdied his last 2 holes to take the overall win at -4. Dan and Scott battled back and forth but Scott's late bogey gave Dan the stroke he needed to nab solo 2nd place. Scott had the most birdies on the day with 7, but his bogey strokes kept knocking him off the top spot. Side not, Scott almost aced hole 8 at Weds Dubs. Hit the cage. So that was kinda cool to see as the spotter.
In C pool I got to watch Jeremy shoot his best round that I've seen in person. He was lacing the left to right shot shapes with precision. Had lots of C2 chances at birdie, but walked away with some stress free pars. He did park and birdie hole 1. Like Lukas, Eli shot 100 points above his rating. He had 3 birdies on the day (holes 4, 7, 13) but more bogies than Jeremy including his final hole of the day which left him in a tie with Jeremy for first place. Congrats to both guys tho for a well played round.
B Pool wasn't even a contest for Briseno. Literally, since he was the only one after Humphrey had to drop. Speaking of, I think I owe you money Cody. I'll take care of that as soon as I'm done rambling here.
Everyone had at lease 2 bogies, and there weren't any solo birds out there (since we place the shorts 2x). Nobody birdied baskets 5 or 8.
We'll be back at Davis for week 9.
Go AZ, or UConn, or Mich, or heck even Ill. They've all been great thus far.
