What an incredible day at George Rogers Clark Park for the 2nd Annual Camp Hendon Doubles Classic! We set out with a goal to raise $1,000, but thanks to this amazing community, we nearly tripled that—netting $2,516 for the kids!
To our players: Seeing the T1D community and the disc golf community merge on the course was powerful. As one player, John Hayes, told me: "It’s a 'circle the calendar' event for our family."
These funds will provide 11 full scholarships for Camp Hendon this summer, ensuring that 11 local kids get the "mental health reset" and community they deserve.
