"Bridge Closed" -- Navigation tips for visitors.
The bridge on Counts Sausage Road, crossing the Bush River, is closed, and there are detour signs up. Hopefully your GPS mapping will pick up the changes, but just in case, or if you're coming by memory....
For visitors from Columbia, ignore the "road closed" and "detour" signs. You'll get to Stoney Hill before the bridge.
For visitors from upstate, coming through Newberry, if you're coming down 395 you'll want to turn left on St. Lukes Church Road, which is about 5 miles before the detour. Or find another route from Newberry, to begin with.
For visitors from Augusta (or Lexington), you'll want to turn right on Stoney Hill Road (before you get to Counts Sausage), picking up the detour in the middle of it.
For visitors from Charlotte...it all depends on your route. If you're coming through Little Mountain or Prosperity, just ignore the detour signs.
