Hello!
I just had a couple questions for the tournament peeps.
Myself and my team are traveling from 4 ish hours away. We are super excited to play to help out the charities and because we haven't found a 4 person scramble anywhere near us.
My main questions involve the weather and the course. We havent played the Labryinth before, and on udisc it is marked as hilly or has elevation, and we know that you all got some snow today, and may get more between now and the tourney.
Is the course playable in a decent amount of snow? Would the tournament be canceled/rescheduled? If so, when would that call be made? Would it still be a cart friendly course if there is snow down? Anything else helpful you think we should know?
We really hope that everything will go smoothly, but also have our hotel reservations to consider.
Thanks for any input, help, thoughts you have!
There are a couple very small hills on the front half but overall the course is pretty flat.
Its definitely still playable with some snow (thats actually where we run our annual ice bowl at every year in january).
We would only cancel or reschedule if it became a safety concern but looking at the extended forecast, a majority of the snow should be gone in time for the event! Its supposed to be in the high 40s all next week up here :)
If theres only a couple inches of snow, it would still be cart friendly!
Theres a pavillion on the course we use as tournament central and if its going to be windy, we have plastic to wrap around it to create a wind break and protect everything inside like raffle items, food, etc.
PLEASE let me know if you have any other questions. Im happy to answer them! Can't wait to see yall soon!
