Thanks to everyone that made it out to the Takeover at the Fort Sponsored by Discraft! We dodged a bullet with the weather today and we stayed dry for the most part all day! There were some good battles on the course today! In MPO Myles Lawson battled back from a middle of the pack first round to shoot the hot round of the day from longs in the 2nd round with a -11 (1030 rated) to tie Cory Folkins and take it down in a playoff. Nice comeback Myles!
A similar story in MP40 where Derek Green shot a +1 in round one but followed that up with a -8 to take down MP40 by 1 over Scott Paul. Way to stay with it DG!
MA1 was the Josh Anderson Jr show where he won by 6! Great tourney Jr. I hear he is moving up ???? You can hear the MA1 field's sigh of relief ????
MA40 gave a little home field advantage to Cameron Steele today. His disc golf skills were on point today, unlike his island painting skills ????
In MA50 Lee Gibson had the lead all day and won by 7! Good shoot'n Lee!
Speaking of sandbagging, Tomas Briscoe, from MA2, shot a 1026 rated -10 from the longs in round 1. We all gave him so much crap that he followed that up with a 905 rated -2 from the shorts! It was still enough to win
MA2 by 7. In all seriousness, great round Tom. I'm sure you have already commissioned Kyle Potter to make you a trophy for your highest rated round ever! ????
We had a 3 way tie for 1st in MA3 and it took a big putt from Brian Fitzgerald to secure the win in a playoff, great job Brian!
Zoe Bishop took down FA3 in her second ever PDGA event, way to go Zoe!!
Josh Deason shot over his rating all day, battled back in round 2 with a 3 down to win MA4 by 3, great work!!
